Hello, I’m weijia, a Product Designer
I’m a product designer with an engineering background, passionate about finding thoughtful and playful ways to solve real human problems. I began my design journey in industrial design, where I focused on the physical interaction between people and products. Over time, I became increasingly drawn to the nuances of digital interaction: how interfaces shape behavior, perception, and emotion, which led me to pursue a master’s degree in MFA.
As a highly sensitive person, I used to view my sensitivity as a limitation. But through design, I’ve come to see it as my greatest strength. It allows me to notice subtle emotional cues, anticipate unspoken needs, and uncover details that often go overlooked. This sensitivity informs my creative process and drives me to design with both empathy and precision.
My approach blends engineering logic with human-centered design, striving to create natural, memorable, and emotionally resonant experiences. I’m most energized when I’m prototyping, storytelling, and collaborating across disciplines to bring ideas to life.
